Maritime Gloucester MA is a new, modern attraction with exhibits on the history of fishing. Originally the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center, the aquarium and exhibits will be free of charge. During this time, the legendary schooner Ardelle, built by the famous Harold Burnham, will berthed in the harbor. During this time, Maritime was home to many visiting schooners.
During the Maritime Gloucester MA festival, visitors can learn about seafaring history and get a taste of coastal living.
